The collection takes its name and inspiration from Sergei Parajanov’s film “The Colour of Pomegranate” and reflects Caucasian cultural motifs of the pomegranate, a symbol of abundance and vitality. While rooted in these influences, the prints are created in the Arts and Crafts style, giving them an ornamental character. The silhouettes are designed in a Western style, combining cultural references with wearability.
The collection includes a dress with a velvet bodice and printed skirt, a fitted velvet jacket, a printed cotton twill bomber shirt-jacket, our well-known “Henriette” blouse made of cotton and silk blend, an eight-panel velvet cap, and a printed tote bag, available in burgundy or black.
Payment plans will be available for blouses, dresses and jackets. As always, the payment is divided into two equal amounts. We put a listing with the first payment and full shipping price on our website during the preorder period. The second payment will be available after the end of the preorder. We are starting the process of sewing before you complete the second payment, so if, for any reason, you cannot complete the rest of the payment within two months after the beginning of the plan, we will be unable to refund your payment, because we have already spent the resources on materials and the sewing process. Dress
The dress with the fitted velvet bodice features a pointed waistline that dips at the centre front and extends into V-shaped lines at the side seams. Cotton twill printed skirt is gathered at the waist to create a voluminous A-line silhouette and decorated with tassel fringe. It features pockets hidden in the skirt seams, a side zipper, and back lacing on the bodice for adjustable sizing.
